Now that this method is being used, everyone is happily working as a team...
"Before our office signed on with Cambridge I knew I needed help. My husband was the dentist and I, being the office manager, was doing everything else myself. It was just too much. Since employing Cambridge, I have moved so many jobs off of me that I've run out of people to delegate to, which is proof that I'd been overloaded.

Increased production has been great since signing up with Cambridge - it has doubled. My husband now has the methods necessary to present treatment plans in a way that patients understand what he's presenting and why he's presenting it. Once they understand the plan, they agree with it. He could not have doubled his production without the methods taught by Cambridge.

Our staff are wonderful. Now that this management method is being used, everyone is happily working as a team and each is responsible for their own area. With that increased responsibility, staff are now rewarded for the excellent jobs they do. This was something else Cambridge taught us. It makes me feel so good to be able to write a check for a bonus when someone has done a really good job.

When I look back and see how badly we needed these management tools, I don't know how we got along without it."

I have had roughly 600-700% return on investment for consulting each time...
"My experience with Cambridge has been a positive one. I have added about $75,000 in production each of the past 3 years to my practice, working the same number of days. My staff is now on an incentive program; they are happy and productive.

I think what holds many dentists back from consulting is a couple of things. One, it is always painful to pay for things that you should know or that are right under your nose. The trouble is, we are too close to it to see it clearly. We are often the main problem and we don't see our own behavior as something that might be holding us back. The cost of consulting is real, but the real cost is not realizing potential. That's what really hurts.

I have had roughly 600-700% return on investment for consulting each time I have used Cambridge in one year. If I had not used the services, my production probably still would have increased, but by nowhere near the amount that it did. I could feel the surge. Having added $225,000 annual production to my practice has increased my staff's and my earnings substantially. Even if we do not continue to increase (I know we will), the loss / cost of NOT knowing what to do would cost $2.25 MILLION in 10 years.

If you think education or consulting is expensive, try stupidity on for size.

A side benefit is I have been able to talk with other Cambridge clients, and I have made some great friendships. It has been a real blessing to be able to have a small network of dentists for support and encouragement.

I have had a good deal of experience with various consulting gurus. Most want to put you into their box and say "do it this way and you will be successful". That is like asking the federal government to solve your day-to-day problems. They have no clue as to what your problems are. Cambridge surveyed me, my wife, my staff, took the vital signs of my practice and addressed those concepts and areas that would have the biggest and most immediate impact for me. I like that! As we have gone forward, the refinement process has unlocked even more potential.

So if you want to know if I have benefited, Duh, No Question! Would I recommend Cambridge, Yes, but only if you are serious about unlocking personal and practice potential. This is not something you buy and it fixes all your problems. You have to be willing to strive for excellence and make adjustments. The problems we addressed initially are no longer problems, but as productivity goes up, there are new problems. That is the refinement. That's why it works. The barriers at $40,000/month are totally different form those at $60,000. Knowing at what point to implement the right management methods is key. Even with years of experience in dentistry, I am not educated or equipped with the skills to manage my practice to potential without guidance."

This has allowed me to focus on my patients and the growth of my practice...
"One of the first things Cambridge did for my practice was help me with staff problems. I was, at the time, too buried in the day-to-day operations of the practice to see that one or two of the staff were undermining my practice and therefore, dragging down the productive, worthwhile staff that I did have. They taught me how to prevent this from ever occurring by teaching me how to spot potentially damaging staff in the interview process.

Cambridge also taught me how to manage my practice, measure its growth and, depending on this growth, be able to decide what to do next. This has allowed me to focus on my patients and the growth of my practice and not take the problems of the practice home with me at night. Needless to say, this has substantially reduced the amount of stress in my life."
