Back in 1996 a successful office manager for a large Northern California dental practice set out to become a top practice management consultant. The first marketing action for the new venture was the delivery of a practice management workshop to a local study club. The seminar went so well that two dentists signed up for consulting that same day becoming Cambridge Dental Consultant's first clients.
My name is Kevin Tighe. I am Cambridge's managing partner. Before joining the Cambridge team I was in charge of setting up workshops for large nonprofits throughout the United States and Canda. During that time, I was fortunate to receive mentoring from several world-class business consultants, including a dental practice management guru. That led to my joining Cambridge as their seminar organizer. Later I delivered seminars myself, crisscrossing the country for the better part of a decade. I subsequently moved up to senior consultant and, eventually, managing partner.
Cambridge's goal is to exceed expectations. We meet that benchmark 97% of the time.
As a dental consultant my very first client quickly tripled his average monthly production and collections from $40,000.00 to $120,000.00 while keeping overhead right around 50%. Since that time I have assisted hundreds of dentists to double and triple their profits while "working smarter, not harder". No gimmicks or tricks. Just effective, easy to learn, dental systems and protocols. Based on years of consulting in the trenches of dental practices I can tell you without any reservation that you are not fully enjoying the success you deserve for one very specific reason:
You're too busy earning a living to make a decent profit!
What do I mean by that? I mean many dentists (and staff) waste exorbitant amounts of money with "dental consulting" and "dental staff training" which they hope will increase production and collections...but don't.
Tremendous time and energy is wasted on fumbled new patient calls, shoddy insurance verification, ineffective confirmation systems, canceled or missed appointments, poor scheduling protocols and patients who end up just wanting the bare minimum in care...if that.
